Cityside (StayCentral on Whiteman) is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment: with a king bed and splittable queen bed. There's also a portacot and high chair available for a small fee if you need it. Your Melbourne corporate apartment includes high quality furnishings and appliances, linen, bath towels, air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities, and a large LCD TV. whilst Melbourne is our home, we currently live overseas and bought this apartment to enjoy when we often stay in Melbourne. It has been furnished to be a comfortable “home away from home” rather than just a serviced apartment. So it is a really great place to stay, and super comfortable. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony (Melbourne weather permitting) whilst taking in the view of nearby Melbourne city. We also love the trams right out front, so it is so easy to get around. You can wander across the road to the Southbank Promenade with all the great restaurants, a short walk to South Melbourne Market for some delicious food, or take a tram ride into the city or to Port Melbourne to enjoy the beach. It is really a perfect place to enjoy Melbourne!

Cityside is brilliantly located; just across the road from Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre and just across the Yarra River from Melbourne CBD. It's a very short walk to Crown Casino and the adjacent Southbank Promenade with its buskers, award-winning restaurants, cafes overlooking the river, and multiple, fashionable shops. Walk to the end of this, and find yourself in the Arts Precinct on St Kilda Road, and the nearby Federation Square and Flinders St Station.
The easiest way to get to Cityside from anywhere is to get a taxi, Uber or Ola ride; including from Tullamarine Airport. Alternative transport from the airport is also relatively easy; take the Skybus from outside the airport terminal to Southern Cross train station in downtown Melbourne, then hop on Tram No. 96 a short way down Spencer St, or if it's a long wait till the next tram, you can take Tram No. 109 at the end of Collins St at the bottom end of the station. Get off at 124A-Casino/MCEC/Clarendon St. It's a very short walk down to 79 Whiteman St (with the trams and narrow park on your right) to the Rivergarden Condos building. Full directions & instructions on how to access your apartment will be provided once your booking is confirmed with StayCentral.
The trams are just out front, and can take you to Port Melbourne, St Kilda, or the other way into the CBD and to wherever you want to from there; or you can just walk into the CBD quite easily. It is a one minute walk from the 109 Port Melbourne - Box Hill tram, the 12 Victoria Gardens - St Kilda (Fitzroy St) tram and the 96 St Kilda Beach - East Brunswick tram at the 125-Port Junction/79 Whiteman St (Southbank) stop. Also, if you only travel on the trams within the city grid, it's free, and you don't need a Myki card.
We send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site from our greeters, once your booking is confirmed. Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We always check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, but we are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day.

Arrivals between 18:00 - 22:00: $50.00
Arrivals between 22:00 - 08:00: $100.00
Arrivals between 08:00 - 10:00: $50.00
No Show: same rate charged as if guest was there, plus applicable rate for when
guest actually arrives.

On check in, you will be asked to sign a registration form confirming the receipt of
remotes, keys and parking permits and your acceptance of StayCentral Terms & Conditions
NB: Many of our properties, including this one, are pet-friendly, but only with approval, as long as they are quiet, and do not damage or climb on the furnishings! The minimum pet stay fee is $150 and daily fees vary from $20 down to $5 for longer stays.
SECURITY BOND - FOR SOME GUESTS
Under some circumstances, we may require a refundable security bond of $1000 or
more. The bond will be debited for any damage, missing items, excessive cleaning
or food or rubbish removal.
All bookings require a credit card to be held on file for security purposes during your
stay. Any credit cards used must be added by the guest and verified by our
3DSecure security verification process. Cards that cannot be verified will not be
