This is not your ordinary, stereotyped, cramped apartment. The owners have spared no expense when renovating the apartment, removing the third bedroom to enlarge the living area, and installing only the best appliances, furniture and decor; including an electric fireplace. This has resulted in a very special, light-filled and spacious interior with a unique, uncluttered living area; to allow for total relaxation. This is why the TV has been installed in the second bedroom; and is not in the living area.

We initially renovated this apartment as our little dream home. This apartment has been styled with love, attention to detail and comfort in mind as a home, not as an investment. Sitting on the balcony in the afternoon sun or laying in bed looking at the trees, despite being in the middle of the city, make it feel like an oasis. There are numerous parks and a beautiful outdoor pool just nearby; which we love strolling to with a coffee in the mornings. Besides the brilliant location next to world class restaurants etc – we really chose this because of the feel of the space which is really special to us.
This penthouse is situated in a quiet pocket adjacent to the lively, world-renowned Chapel Street precinct in Prahran, providing outstanding access to the shops, cafes, restaurants and bars here and in the adjacent High St shopping strip. It is a 5-minute walk to three supermarkets and the famous Prahran Market, Big-W and multiple Cinema Complexes. High Street is also renowned for the newly emerged fashion section in Armadale which is a 10-minute walk or short tram ride away). A 2-minute walk will place you in Prahran's Outdoor Exercise precinct with Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts, Parks and the renowned Prahran Aquatic Centre with pool and cafe; (note on Sunday they have music at the pool!)
The apartment is 20 mins by train to the CBD via the Melbourne NGV Art Gallery and Flinders Street Station. An enjoyable 15-20-minute walk or short tram ride will place you in Richmond, St Kilda, Toorak and Albert Park Lake. The famous Chadstone Fashion Capital is about 15 minutes drive from the apartment, & the Botanical Gardens are a 15 minute walk or short tram ride away.
The apartment complex is located between Mount and Clifton Streets which are just off High Street, just 50 meters past the intersection with Chapel Street. The most direct route from the Airport is to follow the M2 towards the city and take the exit to Kings Way. Continue along Kings Way and turn left onto Lorne Street. Stay on Lorne Street, which becomes High Street after one block. Continue just past the intersection of Chapel Street and High Street and take the first left onto Clifton Street - the entrance to the apartment complex is on the right. There is a further entrance on Mount Street if required (one street down). Directions to Chapel Street and High Street are well marked from many locations around Melbourne making finding the way back very straightforward.
The area is among the best-served by public transport in Melbourne.
Trams: Just outside the apartment on High Street are Tram options to a number of key destinations. A MyKi card, which can be purchased from a convenience store, online via your phone (links directly to Tap and Go) or a train station, can be used to access these services.
No 6. - Heading west will take you via the Alfred Hospital, the Botanical Gardens, the NGV Art Galley of Victoria, and Flinders St Station, straight into the city. Heading east will take you down High Street towards the Armadale Shopping District.
No 78. - The tram runs up and down Chapel Street - heading north takes you up Chapel Street, past the Prahran Market and Toorak Road (get off here to access the Toorak Road shops and bars or Tram 58 to the Botanical Gardens). Continue through to Richmond where you can stop at the lively Swan St or Bridge Road; or continue beyond to the northern suburbs of Melbourne. Heading south-west will take you towards St. Kilda/Elwood Beach areas. (You can also access these by taking the No. 6 tram west to the High St. Kilda Road intersection and changing to the No. 16, 3 or 3A tram).
Trains: There are currently 3 (soon to be 4) nearby train stations.
- Prahran Station - walk up Chapel Street (north, towards Richmond) for approximately 1 block then turn left onto Greville Street at the Town Hall.
- Windsor Station – walk down Chapel Street (south, away from the city) for about 5 minutes.
- South Yarra Station, - walk up Chapel Street (North towards Richmond) and simply turning left onto Toorak Road, 2 blocks from the Chapel St./Toorak Rd. intersection.
We send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site from our greeters. Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We always check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, but we are available by phone and email every day.

NB: Many of our properties, (but NOT this one), are pet-friendly, but only with approval, and as long as they are quiet, and do not damage or climb on the furnishings!
Smoking is strictly not allowed anyway on this property including on balconies.
