This is an individual 76 m2, two-bedroom penthouse with a 50 m2 rooftop patio, it's own security car space, elevator and with.
Perfect for four, this serene and secluded, quality penthouse in the Merida Apartments building has a north and west-facing living & dining area with a reverse-cycle split system air-conditioning system. Two separate doors lead onto an amazing, 50 sqm, north and west-facing, sun splashed, paved alfresco terrace, with sunset views. This means sunny days on the patio all year round, and chilled evenings watching sunsets.
There is a stone kitchen with breakfast bar, and lots of storage space with high gloss, soft-close cabinetry and quality stainless steel European appliances. New, timber-style oak look flooring accents the appealing open-plan living area that looks toward the rooftop terrace through the light-filled living and dining area. Bedrooms offer a queen and double bed with ceiling to floor mirrored sliding door built-in-robes. 
There is a central bathroom in modern warm, grey tones and full height mirror shaving cabinetry. There is also a European laundry with a full size separate, Bosche washing machine and dryer, and internal access to the security car park via an elevator. Bicycle racks are also available.

Having completed my nursing training at the nearby Austin Hospital as a young girl I have been living in and familiar with the area for a long time. Everything you need is only minutes away. 
I love the large open plan living area and a massive private balcony impressively overlooking treetops. It feels so spacious with the open plan design. Admiring the sunset from the balcony while sipping on a quiet drink, was my favourite way to relax before dinner. Make sure you have your camera ready for those stunning hues of burnt orange and lilac sunsets.
I love to make the living space beautiful, practical and modern and hope you feel like this is your home away from home like I do.
The apartment is easy walking distance (about 800m away) to a CBA bank ATM, Post Office, Aldi Supermarket and Chemist Warehouse; all located in the Bell St mall. Parks, schools and bus stops are all close by, with one of Melbourne’s largest shopping, Centres Northland shopping centre, only about 2 km away
Bus Route 548 is located in front of the building; servicing popular stops at La Trobe University and Ivanhoe Station
The area has abundant health care facilities. From 800m to 2km away you’ll find the Austin Hospital, the Mercy Hospital for Women (which combined measure up to be the largest hospital in Victoria), the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre, Warringal Private Hospital and the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital. 
"Burgundy Street" is now known as Heidelberg Central Shopping Precinct and has over 230 retail/commercial and professional businesses. A new supermarket, and many trendy cafes have made the area very liveable.
There's a market on the weekend nearby at La Trobe University.
The easiest way to get to Waterdale Road from anywhere is a taxi, Uber or an Ola ride; including from Tullamarine Airport.
The cheapest route from the CBD is to take the train on the Hurstbridge line from Parliament Station in the CBD to Ivanhoe Station, then the 548 bus to Waterdale Road and Bonar Street corner, which is right out front of the 452 Waterdale Road residence.
Bus Stop Route 548 is a few steps from front of the building to La Trobe University, Ivanhoe Station to the City CBD. 
A few minutes away, take a short walk a block away to Oriel Road which provides access to buses for all over Melbourne.
NOTE: If you only travel on the trams within the city grid, travel is free, and you won't need a Myki card.
We send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site from our greeters, once your booking is confirmed. Our office is remote from the residence, so we communicate by phone or email. We always check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, and we are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day.

Many sites only allow us to show one rate, so we need to clarify our booking rules here.
Within 30 days, the minimum stay is 3 nights
30 days or more in advance, the min stay is 7 nights
90 days or more in advance, the min stay is 28 nights
We won't be able to accept bookings that do not meet the above criteria.

Late Arrivals

For guests arriving between 22:00 and 08:00 there is a late arrival fee of $100.00
For no shows, there is a no show fee of $100
For Public Holiday arrivals, there is an extra surcharge of $50


Check in
On check in, you will be asked to sign a registration form confirming the receipt of remotes, keys and parking permits and your acceptance of StayCentral Terms & Conditions.

Pet Stays
NB: Many of our properties, (including this one) are pet-friendly, but only with approval, and as long as they are quiet, and do not damage or climb on the furnishings! The pet stay fee is not included in the rate and is $135 (base rate) plus $5 per night per pet.

For stays of 28+ nights and bookings made within 5 days of arrival, you will be required to pay a refundable bond of $1200.00. Payments of this bond by credit card or International Bank Transfer will incur fees which are not refundable. Please note bonds may be requested at the managers discretion. Bonds are due 7 days before arrival and are refunded within 14 days of departure. The bond will be debited for any damage, missing items, excessive cleaning or food or rubbish removal.

All bookings require a credit card to be held on file for security purposes during your stay. Any credit cards used must be added by the guest and verified by our 3DSecure security verification process. Cards that cannot be verified will not be accepted. Please enquire with us for more details before making a booking.
