DESCRIPTION:

This is an individual apartment, tucked into the quieter back corner of a small apartment complex. It combines the beauty of a magnificent older-style front-entry staircase with pencil pines dotting the front line of gardens.

Perfect for four, your stylishly refurbished corporate apartment has two-bedrooms: with a king bed and (splittable) queen bed. There's also a foldaway bed, a cot and high chair available if needed for a small fee. Don't forget to bring linen for the cot.

Your Melbourne corporate apartment includes high quality furnishings and appliances, linen, beautiful bath towels, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities with separate washing machine and dryer. Opening windows allow fresh air through all rooms when you want it. All main windows, including the bedrooms are double glazed with thick, outer glass for added security and comfortable temperature and control and quiet nights all year round.

Reverse cycle air conditioning and heating are provided in the living area and in each bedroom. The dining table has four very comfortable, modern chairs. There are also two matching carvers if you decide to have six for dinner. All modern kitchen appliances are fitted here; including coffee machine, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, oven, gas cook top and range hood. All the essential utensils are provided. You will also find an iron & ironing board, and separate washing machine & dryer.

(Note from the owner: I was really surprised how quiet this apartment is. Being at the back of the complex, and having double-glazing and plenty of trees around it seems to insulate it very well. The other plus (apart from proximity to everything you could possibly need), is the trams out the front. They run every 6 minutes in busy times and you’re in town before you can blink. Who needs a car?).

The address is 6 Sydney Road, Brunswick. It has a Walk Score of 92 out of 100. This location is a Walker’s Paradise so daily errands do not require a car. It is only a one minute walk from the 19 North Coburg - Flinders Street Station (City) tram at the 19-Brunswick Rd/Sydney Rd (Brunswick) stop. Nearby parks include Royal Park, Princes Park and Hardy Gallagher Reserve. If you need to be close to Princes Park, this apartment will be perfect for you.

Princes Park Motor Inn, also known as the Best Western, used to be located next door to Brunswick Vibe, but is no longer operating. It closed its doors in September 2021. The Vibe Hotel, formerly in Royal Parade nearby, also closed its doors some time ago. Brunswick Vibe is located right between Brunswick & Parkville, close to Princes Park, Royal Park, Carlton, Lygon St & the Airport, 4kms or 10 mins from CBD. Nearby in Sydney Road, you will find an interesting selection of colourful shops, cafes, restaurants, a supermarket, ATMS etc; all your everyday needs are catered for. There are plenty of bars, and a lively music scene as well. For more great restaurants and cafes visit Lygon Street in East Brunswick, only a short stroll away. The area is among the best-served by public transport in Melbourne.

The Royal Park Golf Club and Parkville Tennis Club are a short walk away, as are the Brunswick Baths and a choice of local gyms.

Getting There

From the airport exit from Citylink at the Brunswick Road exit ramp and turn left. From the city, going up Royal Parade, turn right into Park St, and take left hand turns until you are back on Sydney Road; just past the 7 Eleven. Full directions will be supplied on your booking confirmation, once we are in contact by email.

Getting Around

 

Trams are just out the front, run every 6 minutes, and only take 10 mins to reach the CBD. Or you can travel north to Coburg and Preston. You can also walk to shops, cafes, restaurants etc in Sydney Road nearby, and some great restaurants nearby in Lygon St. You don't need a car. Also, if you only travel on the trams within the city grid, it's free, and you don't need a Myki card.

 

Guest Interaction

 

We send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site from our greeters, once your booking is confirmed. Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We always check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, but we are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day.

PLEASE NOTE OUR MINIMUM STAYS REQUIREMENTS BELOW:

 

Many sites only allow us to show one rate, so we need to clarify our booking rules here.

Within 30 days, the minimum stay is 3 days

30 days or more in advance, the min stay is 7 days

90 days or more in advance, the min stay is 28 days

We won't be able to accept bookings that do not meet the above criteria.

Booking fee: $80 per stay

A portacot and high chair is available for a small fee - BYO cot linen.

Pet stays

NB: Many of our properties, including this one, are pet-friendly, but only with approval, and as long as they are quiet, and do not damage or climb on the furnishings! Please enquire with us about the pet stay fee and the pet stay security deposit.

*Very early and late arrivals require the following fees to have someone there at these times:

Arrivals between 6:00 am and 9:30 am: $25.00

Arrivals between 5:30 pm and 9:00 pm: $25.00

Arrivals between 9:00 pm and midnight $55.00

Arrivals between midnight and 6:00 am: $100.00

Check in

On check in, the owner of the credit card must be present, and will be asked to: 

·  provide the credit card used for the booking (and the security bond if different)

·  provide the matching photo ID 

·  sign a registration form confirming the receipt of remotes, keys and parking permits and your acceptance of StayCentral Terms & Conditions; including the authorisation for StayCentral to use the security deposit held by us, or on the relevant credit card, as payment for any expenses as described in the above Terms.

SECURITY BOND

We require a minimum security bond of $600, which increases for pet stays, very long stays and bookings on the day of arrival. The bond will be charged to your credit card used for the booking, up to seven days before your arrival and released after your departure (subject to a damage and excess cleaning check). The bond will be debited for any damage, missing items, excessive cleaning or food or rubbish removal. Any credit cards used may need to be verified by our SecureID security verification process. Cards that cannot be verified may not be accepted, and any payments made may not be honoured. Please enquire with us for more details before making a booking.
