Perfect for four, the Cityside corporate apartment is brilliantly located; just across the road from Convention & Exhibition Centre and just across the Yarra River from Melbourne CBD. It's securely tucked inside the stylish Rivergarden Condos building, a modern new building with a security entrance, which has brilliant facilities such as a fully enclosed 25m lap pool, tennis court, gardens and a communal BBQ area. Cityside on Whiteman is a two-bedroom apartment: with a king bed and splittable queen bed and extra single foldaway bed if needed. There's also a cot and high chair available for free if you need it. Don't forget to bring linen for the cot. Your Melbourne corporate apartment includes high quality furnishings and appliances, linen, beautiful bath towels, and a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities, and a huge LCD TV. Opening windows in the bedrooms and onto the balcony from the living area allow fresh air through all rooms when you want it.
(Note from Owner: we live in WA and bought this apartment specifically for when we often stay in Melbourne, and with advice from Chris on the best inclusions to suit short stay guests. We furnished it very comfortably; more to suit ourselves than as a serviced apartment. So it is a really nice place to stay, and super comfortable for a short-stay apartment. We also love the trams right out front, so it is so easy to get around, and you can wander across the road to the Southbank Promenade with all the great restaurants. It’s just brilliant!)
With more than 400 reviews for StayCentral on Tripadvisor, Airbnb and Google, with a guest rating of 4.8 Stars, why look elsewhere?
Your StayCentral apartment is so close to so many things of interest. Here are just a few examples of local attractions which are an easy walk or a very quick tram ride away:
Southbank and Southgate Promenade shops, restaurants and cafes; right on the river
Southbank to Port Melbourne, South Melbourne or South Yarra - great for walking, jogging, bike riding or rollerblading. Southbank promenade forms part of the Capital City Bicycle Trail, which circles the Melbourne city centre and some inner eastern and northern suburbs. A popular starting point for the trail is at Princes Bridge near Flinders Street Station. Bikes can be hired near the boathouses east of the bridge.
The Yarra River is a great way to see the city and hear about its history. The river cruises show you and tell you so much about the city.
Ballet, Opera and Live Theatre at the State Theatre & Concert Hall
Crown Entertainment Complex, with its cinemas, shopping, restaurants and Casino
Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre (Jeff's Shed)
Melbourne Convention Centre
Melbourne Aquarium; on the river's edge
Federation Square with its galleries, exhibitions, restaurants and many cultural events
Flinders Street Station is identical to one in Calcutta, India.
Southern Cross Station
CBD shopping including Elizabeth St, Bourke St mall, Collins St and Flinders Lane
Melbourne Maritime Museum (Polly Woodside)
Shopping at Clarendon St, South Melbourne
