Perfect for six, this luxury, corporate apartment in The Alexander, a boutique block of only twelve apartments, is brilliantly located in a modern city-edge precinct in Moonee Ponds on the edge of Essendon. It is only a stones throw to cafes, shops and restaurants in the nearby village near the Essendon train station.
Highlights include split-system heating and cooling, solid hardwood floors, plus video intercom, secure foyer (main entrance) and undercover parking spaces.
This is a large apartment; much bigger than many other three-bedroom apartments in Melbourne, and includes modern appliances and premium quality decor. Recently renovated and refurbished, efficient layouts allow for more living space whilst maintaining access to all modern appliances when required.
This spacious apartment includes a large, 30m2 balcony with 180 degree, commanding views towards the City itself, and to the east and west. The summer sunsets especially are just beautiful here. Note from the owner: " We loved the location of this apartment, walking distance to Essendon Station, Queens Park and Moonee Ponds Central, along with many other shops and cafes in the area. We always stay here when visiting family in the Essendon and Moonee Ponds area, and its an easy trip into the city for the theatre or the football! The view from the large sized balcony is gorgeous and this size balcony is hard to find in many apartments. The open plan living room, secure parking and modern bathrooms are a plus".

(The city trams are just 200m up the road on the palm tree-lined Mount Alexander Road at Fletcher St). The easiest and quickest way to the Moonee Ponds Penthouse is to take a taxi or Uber. Otherwise, you can take the Skybus from outside the airport terminal to Southern Cross train station in downtown Melbourne, then cross over to the Glenbervie metro train line. Hop off at Essendon station. It is only a 300m walk to the apartment). Full directions & instructions on how to access your apartment will be provided once your booking is confirmed with StayCentral.
To get to the CBD, walk to Essendon Train Station and take the train to the city.
To get to Moonee Ponds amazing shopping strip, take the train; one stop only to Moonee Ponds, or walk 800m down Mt Alexander Road. Also, if you only travel on the trams within the city grid, it's free, and you don't need a Myki card.
We will send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site from our greeters, once your booking is confirmed. Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We always check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, but we are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day.

On check in, the owner of the credit card must be present, and will be asked to:
· provide the credit card used for the booking (and the security bond if different)
· provide the matching photo ID
· sign a registration form confirming the receipt of remotes, keys and parking permits and your acceptance of StayCentral Terms & Conditions; including the authorisation for StayCentral to use the security deposit held by us, or on the relevant credit card, as payment for any expenses as described in the above Terms.

We require a minimum security bond of $1,000, which increases for very long stays and bookings on the day of arrival. The bond will be accepted by EFT or charged to your credit card via our verified, Secure ID process, up to seven days before your arrival and released after your departure (subject to a damage and excess cleaning check). The bond will be debited for any damage, missing items, excessive cleaning or food or rubbish removal or any behaviour incurring expenses for the property manager. Any credit cards used will need to be verified by our Secure ID security verification process. Cards that cannot be verified will not be accepted.
