8 Franklin Street is a three minute walk from the 19 North Coburg - Flinders Street Station (City), the 57 West Maribyrnong - Flinders Street Station (City) and the 59 Airport West - Flinders Street Station (City) at the 7-Queen Victoria Market/Elizabeth St (Melbourne City) stop.
Several nearby parks include Eight Hour Reserve, Lincoln Square and Argyle Square, but the large parks of Flagstaff Gardens and Carlton Gardens are close by and worth a visit
Southbank promenade forms part of the Capital City Bicycle Trail, which circles the Melbourne city centre and some inner eastern and northern suburbs. Bikes can be hired near the boathouses east of the bridge.

The easiest way to get to Milano Serviced Penthouse from anywhere is get get a taxi, Uber or Ola ride; including from Tullamarine Airport.
Alternative transport from the airport is also relatively easy; take the Skybus from outside the airport terminal to Southern Cross train station in downtown Melbourne, then hop on Tram No. 86 to Plenty Road heading up Bourke St and get off at Swanston St, 5 full blocks away. Hop off here and get on Tram No. 5 to Melbourne University. Get off 5 stops later at RMIT University. Your apartment is 2 minutes walk from there.
There are trams on nearby Swanston St, but you are already in the CBD, so you walk to many places including Melbourne Central shopping complex nearby.
We send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site from our greeters, once your booking is confirmed. Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We always check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, but we are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day.

NB: Many of our properties, including this one, are pet-friendly, but only with approval, and as long as they are quiet, and do not damage or climb on the furnishings! Please enquire with us about the pet stay fee and the pet stay security deposit.
*Very early and late arrivals require the following fees to have someone there at these times:
Arrivals between 6:00 am and 9:30 am: $25.00
Arrivals between 5:30 pm and 9:00 pm: $25.00
Arrivals between 9:00 pm and midnight $55.00
Arrivals between midnight and 6:00 am: $100.00
On check in, the owner of the credit card must be present, and will be asked to:
· provide the credit card used for the booking (and the security bond if different)
· provide the matching photo ID
· sign a registration form confirming the receipt of remotes, keys and parking permits and your acceptance of StayCentral Terms & Conditions; including the authorisation for StayCentral to use the security deposit held by us, or on the relevant credit card, as payment for any expenses as described in the above Terms.

We require a minimum security bond of $600, which increases for pet stays, very long stays and bookings on the day of arrival. The bond will be charged to your credit card used for the booking, up to seven days before your arrival and released after your departure (subject to a damage and excess cleaning check). The bond will be debited for any damage, missing items, excessive cleaning or food or rubbish removal. Any credit cards used may need to be verified by our SecureID security verification process.
