This is an individual first-floor apartment in a gorgeous old Melburnian property, set in manicured grounds amongst beautiful, large trees, in a gorgeous quiet, tree-lined street, with neighbouring streets with wide centre islands studded with gorgeous trees. StayCentral on George has a secure entry, landscaped communal gardens, and one on-street parking permit. There is a large park just down the road, and everything you could need is within walking distance.
With true Art Deco character, this fully restored 1930s apartment is perfect for two, and provides a sophisticated balance of old school charm and modern luxury. The first-floor apartment has been really well restored, so that it is essentially a beautiful new apartment, but in gorgeous, well-established grounds.
The apartment itself consists of a well-designed contemporary kitchen with good bench space, an integrated fridge and freezer with washing machine, and a stainless steel dishwasher. The open plan living and dining area has heating, beautiful, restored hardwood floorboards. A modern bathroom and bedroom with built in robes make it a very liveable retreat that is in a quiet area but very close to the city.
This apartment is ideal for someone looking for an inexpensive but well-appointed apartment that is walking distance to the CBD. Your swish, boutique, serviced apartment includes very modern, high quality furnishings and appliances, linen & towels. Please note it does not have air-conditioning.
All tea, coffee, toiletries, washing and cleaning products and other welcome supplies are supplied. You will need to purchase more of these consumables if you need them for the rest of your stay.

It is city living but not in the hustle and bustle; you have the parks, gardens and leafy streets to relax and unwind. East Melbourne has many historic buildings, and we love the historic art deco building and the luxury renovation meticulously designed to keep in with the period features and character of the area.)

It's easy to get to the StayCentral on George apartment. From the airport, you can just take a taxi, or you can hop on the Skybus to Southern Cross Station. From there, it's a short train ride to West Richmond Station and a 3-minute walk to the apartment. Being on the city fringe East Melbourne has excellent public transport access whether you are wanting to travel into Melbourne CBD, see the city sites, or travel to and from the suburbs and hospitals. The apartment is in easy walking distance to train stations, tram stops and bus stops. All the services are very reliable and most run at 10-minute intervals. Also, if you only travel on the trams within the city grid, it's free, and you don't need a Myki card.

We send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site once your booking is confirmed, and your security deposit is processed; normally a week before arrival. Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We generally check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, but we are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day.
On check in, the owner of the credit card must be present, and will be asked to:
· provide the credit card used for the booking (and the security bond if different)
· provide the matching photo ID
· sign a registration form confirming the receipt of remotes, keys and parking permits and your acceptance of StayCentral Terms & Conditions; including the authorisation for StayCentral to use the security deposit held by us, or on the relevant credit card, as payment for any expenses as described in the above Terms.

We require a minimum security bond of $500, which increases for pet stays, very long stays and bookings on the day of arrival. The bond will be charged to your credit card used for the booking, up to seven days before your arrival and released after your departure (subject to a damage and excess cleaning check). The bond will be debited for any damage, missing items, excessive cleaning or food or rubbish removal. Any credit cards used may need to be verified by our SecureID security verification process. Cards that cannot be verified may not be accepted, and any payments made may not be honoured. Please enquire with us for more details before making a booking.
