We loved our stay at this apartment in Essendon. It was really clean, comfortable and had all the amenities that we needed. Excellent location, 5 mins walk to the station, cafes and shops downstairs are all great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very quiet for apartment living, we didn’t hear any neighbours. Safe undercover parking. A short walk to lovely Queens Park and Moonee Ponds. It was all very easy booking through Stay Central. I would highly recommend this apartment!

This is also very close to Moonee Ponds and the Moonee Valley and Flemington Racecourses. Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine) is very close as well.

The trams in the Melbourne are brilliant. You can see the tram stop for Essendon (stop 41) from the front door. It is only a three-minute walk down Napier Street. You will need a MYKI card that can be purchased at the 7 Eleven Store just across the road from the tram stop. tramTRACKER is good app for your phone. It makes it easy to check the time for the next Tram. It takes around 30 minutes to get to the CBD. You can also download Public Transport Victoria (PTV) app or just Google it. you can use the Journey planner to plan your trip.
Alternatively, it is a short seven-minute walk from this apartment to Essendon Railway Station. Walk down Napier St. cross the tram station and go down Russell St where you will see the entrance to the train station. You will need a MYKI card that can be purchased from the agent at the station. If you use the PTV app, you can use the Journey planner, putting in Essendon Station and destination Flinders Street Station to get the departure times for the 18 minute trip to the city centre.
Transport from the airport is easy; take the Skybus from outside the airport terminal to Southern Cross train station in downtown Melbourne, then cross over to the Craigieburn metro train line. Hop off at Essendon station and cross over Mt Alexander Road; a few minutes walk from the station). If more than two people are traveling together it might be better to use an Uber or a Taxi.

Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We generally check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, but we are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day.
