I was given a very warm welcome by the Host. The rooms were spotless. A very nice touch was that there were some sweets, some sparkling mineral water, nibblies available at no charge. The house is in a very quiet location despite being on a main road. Some nice restaurants handy a few minutes from the house. Easy access to public transport. I didn’t have a car. The local shopkeepers were delightful. I recommend Pauline as a gracious host and it was value for money. Thank you, Pauline.

Downstairs is a private queen bedroom and bathroom which is perfect for two.
Upstairs is master queen bedroom and bathroom; also perfect for two.

This spacious townhouse accommodation is tucked into the quiet back corner of a very small complex at 125 Glenlyon Road, near Lygon St. It combines the room sizes of a large home with a large, outdoor balcony. They don't make town houses this big any more!

You have your own large bathroom and spacious queen size bedroom. This is at the end of the hallway downstairs. Your accommodation is away from the living area, which is upstairs. Your bedroom includes:
an opening window overlooking your private courtyard.
a wall heater, 
tea & coffee-making facilities, 
Small kitchenette attached with bar fridge and microwave
your own TV with remote, 
a large wardrobe with plenty of shelves and hanging space, 
bedside tables with drawers and lamps.

Upstairs private queen bedroom with own bathroom.
You have your own large bathroom with shower/bath and double vanities, and spacious queen bed. This is in the corner of the upstairs area, tucked away to the side from the living area. Your bedroom includes:
an opening window, 
a wall heater, 
your own large flat screen TV with remote, 
a large wardrobe with plenty of shelves and hanging space, 
bedside tables with drawers and lamps. 
You are very close to the kitchen so you can easily make yourself a cuppa.
A hair dryer is provided in the bathroom.

The open plan living area is very spacious, and like the whole townhouse, is very quiet, as it is quite some distance from the street. It includes a large, very comfortable leather lounge, timber coffee table, large dining table with plenty of chairs, a flat screen TV, and an air conditioner and heating for all year round comfort.

The living area opens out onto a well-protected, outdoor, private balcony. It has undercover areas that include a cosy table and chairs, and a beautiful, hand-made swing. 

The kitchen, which opens onto the large living area, has a large number of facilities including:
a fridge-freezer, 
large gas cooktop, 
electric oven, 
large sandwich maker
double sink
plenty of appliances, utensils, crockery, cutlery and other items. 
a stone bench top.

The laundry/kitchenette facilities downstairs include an iron and ironing board, a separate washing machine, clothes dryer and tub, as well as a bar fridge, microwave and your own supplies of cutlery, crockery, cups and cleaning products.

Off-street car parking is available for one car, with additional free and unlimited parking on the street.

Nearby in Sydney Road and Lygon St just around the corner, you will find an interesting selection of colourful shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, a supermarket, ATMS etc; all your everyday needs are catered for. There are plenty of bars, and a live music scene as well. The area is among the best-served by public transport in Melbourne. The trams run every few minutes and are only a very short walk away. The bus stops just outside the door.

Your spacious Brunswick townhouse stay includes high quality linen, beautiful bath towels and bath mats etc. The property will be serviced every two weeks,your bed will be made, and all linen, towels, bath mats and hand towels etc will be replaced. An opening window allows fresh air in when you want it.

Welcome soap, shampoo/conditioner/body lotion are provided.

You will have access to an upstairs balcony as well as a private courtyard downstairs just for your use. During periods I am not available, a site manager will be available to ensure the town house is serviced and any of your needs are met.

Because the town house is tucked behind a large house it is protected from any noise so is very quiet despite being in the hub of inner city Melbourne and the best of Melbourne's multicultural experience

You can walk to shops, cafes, restaurants and trams to the city centre in Lygon St (2 min) and Sydney Road. (6 min) Trams generally run every 6-8 minutes, and only take 10 mins to reach the city. Train to the city only 10 min walk away.
The bus stops outside the door going to Clifton hill, Thornbury, Moonee Ponds and surrounds

This is Melbourne at its best, multicultural, great for all age groups for dining, shopping, bike paths, markets, night clubs, bars, live music arts, theatre, parks and all so close to the city. You name it and Brunswick has it. I'm sure you will love it.


Tranquil Townhouse is on the doorstep of major tram routes, train station and bus routes. Bus stops literally outside my door and the closest tram is 2 min walk while the train is 10 min walk. Parking is free right outside my door for 2 hrs or literally across the road free 24 hours a day.

If you are arriving from the airport a taxi costs around $45. Alternatively There is a sky bus that takes you to Southern cross station in the city for around $20 per person. From there you catch a tram up Collins St - any of the following trams are good # 11, # 12, # 48 and # 109. You get off at Swanston st and catch either #1 or # 8 tram to get to my place along Lygon St. Get off at Glenlyon Rd and turn left for a two minute walk to my place. It is across the road. There is a large house at the front, walk down the drive to my town house .
The Lygon st tram on the corner of Glenlyon road takes you into the city or keep going on it to a local bayside beach.
