This is an individual apartment in the new and amazing 'Islington Silos' building, in a modern city precinct near the middle of Collingwood, and only a stones throw to Melbourne CBD and the Yarra River. This conversion of an historic silos building made a defining contribution to the transformation of the once industrial hub into arguably the most sought after and trendiest suburbs in Melbourne. Originally a malt store built in 1878, this site was a former malt silo, servicing the surrounding breweries. It represented an early phase of industrial development in the area. The expansion of the malt store to include the adjoining silos mirrored the burgeoning brewing industry in Victoria at the time. Today the malt store and silos complex are prominent elements of the Islington St development.

If you drive and leave your car unattended on the street whilst getting the keys, you may be booked for not having a council parking permit, so make sure you put at least a small amount of money in the ticket machine, and place the ticket on your dashboard. Getting around is easy. There are so many shops, cafes, restaurants etc nearby that you can walk to them. In addition the trams and buses are only 200m away on Victoria Parade and there are two train stations within 400m.

NB: Many of our properties, including this one, are pet-friendly, but only with approval, and as long as they are quiet, and do not damage or climb on the furnishings! Please enquire with us about the pet stay fee and the pet stay security deposit.
*Very early and late arrivals require the following fees to have someone there at these times:
Arrivals between 6:00 am and 9:30 am: $25.00
Arrivals between 5:30 pm and 9:00 pm: $25.00
Arrivals between 9:00 pm and midnight $55.00
Arrivals between midnight and 6:00 am: $100.00

On check in, the owner of the credit card must be present, and will be asked to:
· provide the credit card used for the booking (and the security bond if different)
· provide the matching photo ID
· sign a registration form confirming the receipt of remotes, keys and parking permits and your acceptance of StayCentral Terms & Conditions; including the authorisation for StayCentral to use the security deposit held by us, or on the relevant credit card, as payment for any expenses as described in the above Terms.

We require a minimum security bond of $900, which increases for pet stays, very long stays and bookings on the day of arrival. The bond will be charged to your credit card used for the booking, up to seven days before your arrival and released after your departure (subject to a damage and excess cleaning check). The bond will be debited for any damage, missing items, excessive cleaning or food or rubbish removal. Any credit cards used may need to be verified by our SecureID security verification process. Cards that cannot be verified may not be accepted, and any payments made may not be honoured. Please enquire with us for more details before making a booking.
