We stayed at this property for 3 weeks and found it to provide everything we needed and more. The location of the property is outstanding. It’s only a few minutes from the city, and you have walking distance access to an array of restaurants, cafes and other eateries. I would also like to make special mention of the property manager. He was always easy to deal with, professional and very thorough. This apartment is ideal for families (or couples for that matter) who want easy access to the city in a more relaxed location.

The city trams are right out the front in the palm tree-lined Mount Alexander Road. You can easily explore the unique boutiques and indulge in renowned designer brands. With all you need on your doorstep and a brilliant view, you will love this apartment and the location. This is also very close to Moonee Ponds and Flemington Racecourse, and Tullamarine Airport is very close as well.

Getting There

Transport from the airport is easy; take the Skybus from outside the airport terminal to Southern Cross train station in downtown Melbourne, then cross over to the Glenbervie metro train line. Hop off on Essendon station and take tram 59 for a couple of stops (follow the signs to trams as it's a 1-2 mins walk from the station). Full directions & instructions on how to access your apartment will be provided once your booking is confirmed with StayCentral.

To get to the CBD, take the 59 Tram down the hill to Essendon Train Station (or all the way to the city) and take the train from the nearby Essendon Station.

Guest Interaction

We send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site from our greeters, once your booking is confirmed. Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We always check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, but we are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day.

Check in

On check in, the owner of the credit card must be present, and will be asked to: 

·  provide the credit card used for the booking (and the security bond if different)

·  provide the matching photo ID 

·  sign a registration form confirming the receipt of remotes, keys and parking permits and your acceptance of StayCentral Terms & Conditions; including the authorisation for StayCentral to use the security deposit held by us, or on the relevant credit card, as payment for any expenses as described in the above Terms.

We require a minimum security bond of $1,500, which increases for pet stays, very long stays and bookings on the day of arrival. The bond will be charged to your credit card used for the booking, up to seven days before your arrival and released after your departure (subject to a damage and excess cleaning check).
