Staying at Staycentral in Essendon was a pleasure. The apartment has all the comforts of home in a stylish, modern and spacious package. A great central location between the city and airport makes this a fantastic spot for interstate travellers and locals alike. The building is very secure and there is great parking facilities onsite. We would definitely recommend Staycentral.

DESCRIPTION:

Please note that this property will be fully furnished to our four star standard, and will be available from approximately mid-November to late November 2018. The house is huge. There is a rumpus room (which can be set up as a sixth bedroom instead), and a study, as well as the five bedrooms, including two main bedrooms with ensuites.

 

Perfect for up to 10 guests, your two-storey, five-bedroom (2 kings, 2 splittable queen beds and 2 single beds) StayCentral serviced residence has a huge, fully-equipped kitchen with large oven and cook top, dishwasher and large fridge; with plenty of bench space for a big cook-up. There is a good-sized laundry with separate washer and dryer ,and four bathrooms, including two en-suites. Two large and one smaller balcony have wonderful views over the wetlands/park area adjacent the house and just before the river. You can sit at either of the alfresco settings and just watch over the waterways and park. There's a very powerful hot water service to keep the four bathrooms going morning and night, and there are even three baths to choose from. There are cots and high chairs available if needed. Remember to BYO cot linen. It also has central heating and cooling for year-round comfort.

 

This stylish, two-storey house is a recently refurbished home in Magazine Way, Maribyrnong, overlooking the Maribyrnong River & attached waterway, with a view to the surrounding suburban hills, and has it's own fenced-in yard. There are two garaged, car parking spaces on the ground floor, plus street parking out the front and on the side street around the corner.

Your Melbourne accommodation includes high quality furnishings and appliances, linen, beautiful bath towels, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities.

 

All tea, coffee, toiletries, washing and cleaning products and other welcome supplies can be found in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. You will need to purchase more of these consumables if you need them for the rest of your stay.

The residence is very close to the Riverside Golf & Tennis Centre, Melbourne Showgrounds and Flemington Racecourse. It is only minutes from Footscray, Maidstone, Moonee Ponds, Ascot Vale, Flemington and Kensington. Tullamarine Airport is only a 25-minute drive.

The house is located close to downtown Maribyrnong, and is a ten-minute walk to the tram stop. The Maribyrnong shopping strip is home to many vibrant cafes and eateries. Take your pick of Lazy Moe's, Rockfish, Desserts by Night, St Burgs, Terminal 45 Pizzeria, Gorilla Grill, Sambal Kampung, Shinmai Tasty Melbourne, Imbue Food & Wine - the list goes on and on.

Magazine Way is a lovely, green part of Maribyrnong. It is located amongst several large parks, the passing Maribyrnong River, and the large adjacent waterway/wetland area.

Here are just a few examples of local attractions which are an easy walk or a very quick car drive away:

Maribyrnong River - just in front of the house

Frogs Hollow Wetland - just across the road

Melbourne Zoo - a must-see for visitors and residents alike

Moonee Ponds shopping strip - you just have to visit this area. The shops are great!

MINIMUM STAYS:

This apartment generally has a minimum stay of 3 days.

Bookings made well in advance have longer minimum stays.

Lower rates are available for longer stays.


GOOD TO KNOW

Booking fee: $25 per stay

Cleaning fee: $300 per stay

Portacot and high chair available for $10 per night  - BYO cot linen. Discounts for long stays.

Pets are permitted in this residence only with approval.

 

Very early and late arrivals require the following fees to have someone there at these times:

6am - 9:30am & 5.30 pm - 9:00pm will be charged at $25.00;

9:00pm - 6am will be charged at $60.00

Very early check-in can only be secured well in advance by either booking the night before, or by paying an extra half-day rate; depending on the time of arrival.


SECURITY BOND

We require a security bond of at least $1500, which will be pre-authorised (not charged) to your credit card several days before your arrival and released back automatically by your bank after your departure (subject to damage check). Please enquire with us for more details before making a booking.
