"Well located for a large group"

This house was in a good location for a large group, a quick 15 minute drive to Montsalvat and a short drive into the CBD. It was good value for money and a well thought out layout that worked well when the whole group was together whilst also catering for those that needed some quiet time with a separate games room and TVs in all bedrooms.

Perfect for up to 14 guests, your (mainly) ground floor, seven-bedroom (1 king, 2 queen and 4 double beds) StayCentral serviced residence has a huge, fully-equipped kitchen with large oven and cook top, dishwasher, two large fridges, a laundry with separate washer and dryer and three bathrooms, including ensuite. It can accommodate up to 18 guests with extra mattresses. Every bedroom except the loft has its own large flat screen TV too! There's a very powerful hot water service to keep the three bathrooms going morning and night, and there are cots available if needed. Remember to BYO cot linen.


This stylishly refurbished mansion is a sprawling, renovated and refurbished home at 23 Lower Plenty Road, Rosanna; only minutes from Heidelberg and Ivanhoe. It has a great privacy aspect, with no immediate neighbours. There are up to six parking spaces on site, plus street parking around the corner just nearby.

The residence is located in downtown Rosanna, a five-minute walk to the brand new, elevated train station and the Rosanna shopping strip. The mansion is right next door to vibrant cafes and eateries. Take your pick; there is Italian, Thai and Chinese restaurants; as well as a ‘Crust’ pizza delivery and Subway.

Rosanna is a lovely leafy suburb of Melbourne. It has great parks, shops (including a pharmacy, supermarket, gym, doctor and dentist) and a 'family feel' neighbourhood. You can grab yourself one of Melbourne's best coffee's down at the many local cafes including 'Miss Marie's'. Two minutes away is Rosanna Parklands, a 15-hectare park with creek, playground, jogging and bike track and even a tree house.

The mansion is close to The Austin Hospital, The Oliver Newton-John Wellness Centre and Mercy Hospital for Women (less than 1.3km or 10-15 minute walk), Warringal Private Hospital and RMIT and La Trobe Universities.

There's a market on the weekend nearby at La Trobe University.

The nearby suburbs of Heidelberg (1 stop on the train) and Ivanhoe (three stops away) offer an expansive range of restaurants, gaming facilities and shops.



Getting Here
Transport from the airport is easy; take the Skybus from outside the airport terminal to Southern Cross train station in downtown Melbourne, then cross over to the Eltham/Hurstbridge metro train line. Get off the train at Rosanna station. From there, you have the option to walk (600m up the hill) or get a bus (the 517 to Northland) or take a short taxi trip (if you have lots of bags).

(It’s about a $70 taxi ride from Tullamarine Airport and 12 km from the centre of Melbourne).

Getting Around
You can easily walk five minutes to the 'Melbourne to Hurstbridge' train line which stops at Jolimont for Melbourne Park and the MCG, where there are lots of sporting venues including the Australian Open, AFL Grand Final and the cricket at the MCG. (Increased frequency services are commencing shortly, as at July 20-18). The express train takes only 15 minutes to reach Flinders St Station in the city. The ‘all-stations’ train is a 29-minute train ride, with at least 3 trains per hour.  One station away is Heidelberg, which is a larger town with multiple food outlets including Japanese, Indian and two upmarket restaurants with gaming facilities, Coles and Leo’s supermarkets and bottle shops

Buses are very close - the 903 buses go in a circle around Melbourne and stop at Northland or Doncaster shopping town.
There is a bus down Johnson Street to Collingwood, Brunswick, Carlton and city.
Bus 517 stop right outside our house and will take you to Northland or Greensborough and buses departing from Rosanna Station go to Eltham or Glenroy, via Preston and Coburg. There is also a train station at Victoria Park, which is in Johnson St Collingwood- 10 min walk from the prime time- or catch the bus. This takes you to a Richmond MCG for footy or cricket.


This apartment generally has a minimum stay of 5 days.

Bookings made well in advance have longer minimum stays.

Lower rates are available for longer stays.

Very early check-in can only be secured well in advance by either booking the night before, or by paying an extra half-day rate; depending on the time of arrival.


We require a security bond of at least $1000, which will be deducted from your credit card several days before your arrival and refunded to you on about 2-nd business day after your departure (subject to damage check). Please enquire with us for more details before making a booking.
