Perfect for two, your corporate one-bedroom apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, living room, king bedroom, a balcony, bathroom and its own laundry facilities. The balcony overlooks the tennis court and lap pool and has a mostly city view towards Port Phillip Bay. Your boutique apartment includes high quality furnishings and appliances, linen, towels, and a fully-equipped laundry and kitchen. A doorway opening onto the balcony and an opening bedroom window allow fresh air into the apartment when you want it.

All tea, coffee, toiletries, washing and cleaning products and other welcome supplies can be found in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. You will need to purchase more of these consumables if you need them for the rest of your stay.   

(Note from the owner: I love the size of this property. Where else do you find a 75 sq.m one-bedroom apartment in Melbourne these days? Even the new two-bedroom apartments are less than 50 sq.m. I also know it is close enough to the CBD without being in it, and it is so close to Citylink, the trams and Southbank Promenade. We have often spent a weekend here because of all these things).

Your Southbank serviced accommodation is so central; you are less than 10-minutes walk from the centre of the CBD. Across the road is the new development called Melbourne Square, which already has a Woolworths and a couple of cafes etc in the complex. Nearby on the Yarra River is the never-ending Southbank Promenade; famous for its world-class restaurants, shops and Crown Casino. In addition, there are multiple food outlets, buskers and arts & crafts events. And the Melbourne Exhibition Centre is just across Clarendon Street, opposite the Casino. 

Just past Southern Cross Station you will find yourself in Docklands; an amazing world of it's own. A little south of the Casino is South Melbourne shopping strip, and the famous South Melbourne Markets where you can buy just about anything from groceries and meat to clothing and jewellery. Just as importantly though, are the nearby Melbourne icons; the Arts Precinct, Federation Square and Flinders St Station.

Here are just a few examples of local attractions which are an easy walk or a short tram ride away:


Southbank and Southgate Promenade shops, restaurants and cafes; right on the river

Southbank to Port Melbourne, South Melbourne or South Yarra - great for walking, jogging, bike riding or rollerblading. Southbank promenade forms part of the Capital City Bicycle Trail, which circles the Melbourne city centre and some inner eastern and northern suburbs. A popular starting point for the trail is at Princes Bridge near Flinders Street Station. Bikes can be hired near the boathouses east of the bridge.

The Yarra River is a great way to see the city and hear about its history. The river cruises show you and tell you so much about the city.

Getting There
The easiest way to get to Bayviews from anywhere is to get a taxi, Uber or Ola ride; including from Tullamarine Airport. Alternative transport from the airport is also relatively easy; take the Skybus from outside the airport terminal to Southern Cross train station in downtown Melbourne, then ask for the SkyBus Link which has eight convenient stops around Melbourne’s city centre. Ask to be taken to Melbourne Short Stays in City Road Southbank. Walk 200m further down City Road towards Power St and turn right. Then turn right, shortly after at Kavanagh.
If this is not an option, from the station, take the No. 12 tram from further down Spencer St, (just past Bourke St), and get off three stops later just past City Road. Walk back to City Road, turn right, then right again 650m away at Power St. Then turn right, shortly after at Kavanagh.
Getting Around
The trams and buses are only 250 m away on Queensbridge Street, and they will take you into the CBD (just 10 minutes walk away), or wherever you want to go.
Guest Interaction
We send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site from our greeters, once your booking is confirmed. Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We always check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, but we are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day.

Full directions & instructions on how to access your apartment will be provided once your booking is confirmed with StayCentral. Also, if you only travel on the trams within the city grid, it's free, and you don't need a Myki card.

Check in
On check in, the owner of the credit card must be present, and will be asked to: 
·  provide the credit card used for the booking (and the security bond if different)
·  provide the matching photo ID 
·  sign a registration form confirming the receipt of remotes, keys and parking permits and your acceptance of StayCentral Terms & Conditions; including the authorisation for StayCentral to use the security deposit held by us, or on the relevant credit card, as payment for any expenses as described in the above Terms.  
Please ask us about this if it may not be possible.
We require a minimum security bond of $500, which increases for pet stays, very long stays and bookings on the day of arrival. The bond will be charged to your credit card used for the booking, up to seven days before your arrival and released after your departure (subject to a damage and excess cleaning check). The bond will be debited for any damage, missing items, excessive cleaning or food or rubbish removal. Any credit cards used may need to be verified by our SecureID security verification process. Cards that cannot be verified may not be accepted, and any payments made may not be honoured. Please enquire with us for more details before making a booking.
