This is an individual apartment in the amazing 'Islington Silos' building, near the middle of Collingwood, and only a stones throw to Melbourne CBD and the Yarra River. This conversion of an historic silos building made a defining contribution to the transformation of the once industrial hub into arguably the most sought after and trendiest suburbs in Melbourne. Originally a malt store built in 1878, this site was a former malt silo, servicing the surrounding breweries. It represented an early phase of industrial development in the area. The expansion of the malt store to include the adjoining silos mirrored the burgeoning brewing industry in Victoria at the time. Today the malt store and silos complex are prominent elements of the Islington St development.

GETTING THERE:
If you drive and leave your car unattended on the street whilst getting the keys, you may be booked for not having a council parking permit, so make sure you put at least a small amount of money in the ticket machine, and place the ticket on your dashboard. GETTING AROUND:
Getting around is easy. There are so many shops, cafes, restaurants etc nearby that you can walk to them. In addition the trams and buses are only 200m away on Victoria Parade and there are two train stations within 400m.
 
GUEST INTERACTION:
We send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site from our greeters, once your booking is confirmed. Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We always check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, but we are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day.

Full directions & instructions on how to access your apartment will be provided once your booking is confirmed with StayCentral.

PLEASE NOTE OUR MINIMUM STAYS REQUIREMENTS BELOW:

Within 30 days, the minimum stay is 3 nights
30 days or more in advance, the min stay is 7 nights
90 days or more in advance, the min stay is 28 nights
We won't be able to accept bookings that do not meet the above criteria.

*Very early and late arrivals require the following fees to have someone there at these times:
Between 6:00 am and 9:30 am: $25.00
Between 5:30 pm and 9:00 pm: $25.00
Between 9:00 pm and midnight $55.00
Between midnight and 6:00 am: $100.00

CHECK-IN
On check in, the owner of the credit card must be present, and will be asked to: 
* provide the credit card used for the booking (and the security bond if different)
* provide the matching photo ID 
* sign a registration form confirming the receipt of remotes, keys and parking permits and your acceptance of StayCentral Terms & Conditions; including the authorisation for StayCentral to use the security deposit held by us as payment for any expenses as described in the above Terms.  
Please ask us about this if it may not be possible.
 
PET STAYS:
Many of our properties, including this one, are pet-friendly, but only with approval, and as long as they are quiet, and do not damage or climb on the furnishings! The minimum pet stay fee is $150 and daily fees vary from $20 down to $5 for longer stays.
 
SECURITY BOND
We require a minimum security bond of $1,000, which increases for long stays and last-minute bookings. The bond will be charged to your credit card used for the booking, or by EFT, and released after your departure (subject to a damage and excess cleaning check). The bond will be debited for any damage, missing items, excessive cleaning or food or rubbish removal. Any credit cards used must be verified by our SecureID security verification process. Cards that cannot be verified will not be accepted, and any payments made may not be honoured. Please enquire with us for more details before making a booking.
