Port Melbourne’s beautiful bayscape, Station Pier (ships and restaurants), cafes, great mix of corner pubs (great people and music); a great place to walk, cycle or roller blade to, and when you get there. Or just catch the 109 tram! Don’t forget the beaches. The bike paths go all the way around the bay, past St Kilda to Sandringham!

Brunswick takes its name from Caroline of Brunswick, the estranged wife of King George IV.

The Sydney Road Street Party is held every year in February and a main event in the suburb, this is followed by The Brunswick Music Festival in March, featuring blues, roots, and world music it is one of Victoria's leading music festivals and a major multi cultural event for Australia.

Due to the many ethnic and professional groups that live here side by side, Brunswick is a great place to visit for its eclectic lifestyles, chicness and culture. The area is among the best-served by public transport in Melbourne. Brunswick itself is relatively flat and is ideal for cycling.

St Kilda Local Attractions

(St Kilda was named after a schooner named Lady of St Kilda (which moored at the main beach for much of 1841) by Charles La Trobe and former ship master and early settler Lieutenant James Ross Lawrence.)
