What a fantastic place to stay! Traveled for business and leisure together with the family. We all loved the location and the apartment. It was modern, spacious and well kitted out. It felt like a home rather than a hotel. Location is so handy to everything – Melbourne Central a short 3 minute walk, The Emporium, David Jones, Myers Store etc. In the QV there are plenty of places to eat, drink and enjoy a relaxed dessert if you so wish. A nice Woolworths supermarket within QV. Easy access to Melbourne’s inner city free trams; a short walk to the famous Lygon Street restaurants. Would stay there again!

DESCRIPTION:
Melbourne Central is an individual apartment in the huge new, QV1 complex of shops, cafes and restaurants right in the middle of Melbourne CBD. It's hard to beat having Woolworths, Big W, Dan Murphys, a medical centre, pharmacy, post office, banks & ATMs, office works and hairdressers etc in the same building. This is a new building with a security entrance, which combines the beauty of a magnificent modern building with brilliant facilities such as a fully enclosed 25m lap pool and gymnasium with city views, and many other facilities.

Perfect for four, Melbourne Central is a two-bedroom apartment: with two splittable king beds and a queen-sized sofa bed for a small extra fee if needed. It has a fully equipped kitchen, huge living and dining area, one bathroom and its own laundry facilities. Your boutique apartment includes high quality furnishings and appliances, linen, towels, and a fully-equipped laundry and kitchen, as well as a 50” UHD Smart TV in the living area, and a smaller SMart TV with Netflix in the main bedroom. The opening windows allow fresh air into the apartment when you want it. All windows have blockout blinds. This apartment does not accommodate children. (Please note that we don't split the king beds unless you ask us to).
All tea, coffee, toiletries, washing and cleaning products and other welcome supplies can be found in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. You will need to purchase more of these consumables if you need them for the rest of your stay. 
(Note from the owner: We fell in love with the location and view from our apartment.  It is great for playing eyespy with the kids or watching the world go by.  The panorama from the gym and pool on the top floor is also amazing.  Shopping is on your doorstep and the convenience of Woolworths, Dan Murphy’s and eateries downstairs from the building is handy. We have furnished the apartment to be stylish and comfortable.  We enjoy visiting Melbourne and staying in our apartment when we can.  We hope you enjoy our apartment as much as we do.)

The address is 22-24 Jane Bell Lane, Melbourne, and it has a Walk Score of 84 out of 100. This location is a Walker’s Paradise so daily errands do not require a car. It is a two minute walk from the 30 Etihad Stadium Docklands - St Vincents Plaza tram, and the 35 free city tram at the 7-Russell St/La Trobe St (Melbourne City) stop. Nearby parks include Eight Hour Reserve, Burton Reserve and Parliament Gardens.

You will love the centrality of Melbourne Central. It is only a short walk from Chinatown, and some of the best shopping, restaurants, cafes and bars in Australia are on your doorstep. Melbourne Central shopping centre, the Bourke Street Mall, Carlton Gardens and Melbourne Museum/imax theatre, Crown Casino and the aquarium are all within easy walking distance. 
The tram stops are just on the corner. You can enjoy a walk to some of the best-known sporting venues, markets and arts venues in the country. Inner Melbourne and the nearby Southbank Promenade are famous for their world-class restaurants, shops and of course, Crown Casino. In addition, there are multiple food outlets, buskers and arts & crafts events. Just south of the Casino is South Melbourne shopping strip, and the famous South Melbourne Markets. Just north of QV1 is the Queen Victoria Markets where you can buy just about anything from groceries and meat to clothing and jewellery.

Getting There
The easiest way to get to Melbourne Central from anywhere is to get a taxi, Uber or Ola ride; including from Tullamarine Airport. Alternative transport from the airport is also relatively easy; take the Skybus from outside the airport terminal to Southern Cross train station in downtown Melbourne, then go to Platform 12 and take the Pakenham Train to Melbourne Central Railway Station. From there it is a five-minute walk to 22-24 Jane Bell Lane.

Getting Around
You are within walking distance of everything you could need for a long stay in Melbourne, and the trams and trains are very close, so you can bring your car but you probably won't need it.
The tram stop is on the corner of La Trobe Street, and the trains are extremely close at Melbourne Central Station.
Guest Interaction
We send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site from our greeters, once your booking is confirmed. Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We always check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, but we are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day.

30 days or more in advance, the min stay is 7 days
90 days or more in advance, the min stay is 28 days
We won't be able to accept bookings that do not meet the above criteria.

NB: Many of our properties, including this one, are pet-friendly, but only with approval, and as long as they are quiet, and do not damage or climb on the furnishings! Please enquire with us about the pet stay fee and the pet stay security deposit.
*Very early and late arrivals require the following fees to have someone there at these times:
Arrivals between 6:00 am and 9:30 am: $25.00

Check in
On check in, the owner of the credit card must be present, and will be asked to: 
·  provide the credit card used for the booking (and the security bond if different)
·  provide the matching photo ID 
·  sign a registration form confirming the receipt of remotes, keys and parking permits and your acceptance of StayCentral Terms & Conditions; including the authorisation for StayCentral to use the security deposit held by us, or on the relevant credit card, as payment for any expenses as described in the above Terms.  
Please ask us about this if it may not be possible.
SECURITY BOND
We require a minimum security bond of $600, which increases for pet stays, very long stays and bookings on the day of arrival. The bond will be charged to your credit card used for the booking, up to seven days before your arrival and released after your departure (subject to a damage and excess cleaning check). The bond will be debited for any damage, missing items, excessive cleaning or food or rubbish removal. Any credit cards used may need to be verified by our SecureID security verification process. Cards that cannot be verified may not be accepted, and any payments made may not be honoured. Please enquire with us for more details before making a booking.
