"A Great Place to Stay"

This was our second visit to this apartment. We chose this apartment again for its closeness to the city and also St Kilda beaches. Three different tram s stop outside, giving you a wide variety of stops in the city and further out. The unit was very clean and tidy and all appliances worked. Management were very accommodating with our late checkout request. Supermarkets are not much more than a stroll away and there is a mini market and bottle store about 50 meters from the building. Crown casino and multiple restaurants are three minutes walk away. MCG and Rod Laver Arena are about 30 minutes by tram with one change. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms – ideal for two couples or a family. There is a BBQ, tennis courts and indoor pool.

Perfect for four, the Cityside corporate apartment is brilliantly located; just across the road from Convention & Exhibition Centre and just across the Yarra River from Melbourne CBD. It's securely tucked inside the stylish Rivergarden Condos building, a modern new building with a security entrance, which has brilliant facilities such as a fully enclosed 25m lap pool, tennis court, gardens and a communal BBQ area. 

 

Cityside on Whiteman is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment: with a king bed and splittable queen bed and extra single foldaway bed if needed. There's also a cot and high chair available for a small fee if you need it. Don't forget to bring linen for the cot. Your Melbourne corporate apartment includes high quality furnishings and appliances, linen, beautiful bath towels, and a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities, and a huge LCD TV. It has free Netflix, and access via an Amazon Stick to many other programs. Opening windows in the bedrooms and onto the balcony from the living area allow fresh air through all rooms when you want it.

 

(Note from Owner: whilst Melbourne is our home, we currently live overseas and bought this apartment to enjoy when we often stay in Melbourne. It has been furnished to be comfortable “home away from home” rather than just a serviced apartment. So it is a really great place to stay, and super comfortable. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony (Melbourne weather permitting) whilst taking in the view of Melbourne city. We also love the trams right out front, so it is so easy to get around. You can wander across the road to the Southbank Promenade with all the great restaurants, a short walk to South Melbourne Market for some delicious food, or take a tram ride into the city or to Port Melbourne to enjoy the beach. It is really a perfect place for to enjoy Melbourne!


LOCATION:

Your StayCentral apartment is so close to so many things of interest. Here are just a few examples of local attractions which are an easy walk or a very quick tram ride away:

 

Southbank and Southgate Promenade shops, restaurants and cafes; right on the river

Southbank to Port Melbourne, South Melbourne or South Yarra - great for walking, jogging, bike riding or rollerblading. Southbank promenade forms part of the Capital City Bicycle Trail, which circles the Melbourne city centre and some inner eastern and northern suburbs. A popular starting point for the trail is at Princes Bridge near Flinders Street Station. Bikes can be hired near the boathouses east of the bridge.

The Yarra River is a great way to see the city and hear about its history. The river cruises show you and tell you so much about the city.

We require a minimum security bond of $600, which will be pre-authorised or charged to your credit card a week before your arrival and released after your departure (subject to damage check).
