Here are examples of how to reach the 'The Nest' Serviced Apartment
(Please note that Southern Cross Station is the new name for Spencer Street Station. All costs were correct as of early 2011).

By Cab - The easiest way to find this apartment is to take a taxi to 131 Lonsdale Street.
- By Tram - Alternatively, from Southern Cross Station, you can catch any tram up Collins Street or Bourke Street 5 blocks to Russell Street. Alight there, and walk slightly uphill (to the left) on Russell Street, and turn uphill to the right into Lonsdale Street. 131 is about halfway up the block on the right-hand side opposite the old church. (The tram ride costs $3.90. Make sure you have coins with you. Trams will not accept notes. You can also buy daily tickets which are cheaper if you intend making two trips or more).
- By Car - Follow the signs to Melbourne, then head for Lonsdale Street between Russell Street and Exhibition Street. 131 is about halfway up the block on the right-hand side opposite the old church.
From Tullamarine Airport
It's simple to reach us if you're arriving by air at Tullamarine Airport. Here's how:
- Ask about our Limousine & Car Service to and from the airport.
- By cab - this will cost $35-40 depending on traffic, and weekend or late-night rates.
- By SkyBus from the Airport to Southern Cross Station, Melbourne – this will cost about $16 per person one way, or about $26 return. You would then take the Skybus shuttle, and ask for the closest stop to 131 Lonsdale Street.
From Avalon Airport
It's simple to reach us if you're arriving by air at Tullamarine Airport. Here's how:
- Ask about our Limousine & Car Service to and from the airport, which includes a guided tour on the way.
- By cab - this will cost about $95.00 depending on traffic, and weekend rates.
- By Sunbus from the Airport to Southern Cross Station, Melbourne – this will take about 50 minutes and will start at about $18.00 per person, or $32 return. You would then catch the shuttle as above.
From Station Pier, if you arrive by sea
Take the No. 109 Tram from Station Pier to Russell Street in the city. Then walk to Lonsdale Street as above.
A taxi will be the easiest solution, and will cost about $15, depending on traffic, and penalty rates.
