The Nest serviced apartment is so central, and there are so many things of interest that are close by.

Right on your doorstep you can find the Theatre Precinct, Chinatown with some of Melbourne's best restaurants, some of Australia's best shopping all around you, (the Flinders Street shops and delicious cafe and shopping laneways, Collins St, Bourke St Mall and Melbourne Central), and some of the best and varied restaurants, cafes and bars in the world.

A short walk away you will find Queen Victoria Market, most of the major hospitals such as St Vincent and the Mercy Private Hospital, Melbourne Museum in Carlton Gardens, Melbourne Exhibition Centre in Carlton, Parliament House, Flagstaff, Treasury, and Fitzroy Gardens, Cooks Cottage, Federation Square (Fed Square), Young & Jackson Hotel, and St Paul's and St Patrick's Cathedrals.

Still within easy walking distance from The Nest serviced apartment are many icons such as the Kings Domain, Etihad Stadium, Southern Cross and Flinders Street Stations, the Rialto Building & Stock Exchange, Eureka Tower, the Melbourne Convention Centre, Melbourne Aquarium, National Gallery of Victoria, Victorian Arts Centre, Alexandra Gardens, and the never-ending Southbank Promenade; famous for its world-class restaurants, shops, with multiple food outlets, buskers and arts & crafts events, and of course, Crown Casino.

A slightly longer walk or tram ride will take you to Royal Botanic Gardens, the Shrine of Remembrance, Melbourne Park (Tennis Centre) and the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG or the G) and Victoria Barracks, or Melbourne Exhibition Centre (Jeffs Shed). You will also find the Royal Childrens and other hospitals, the State Netball and Hockey Centre, and Melbourne General Cemetary (Melbourne's oldest). The Free City Circle Tram or bus will take you right around the city. Along the way you can stop off at and visit many famous Melbourne shopping locations.

Neighbouring suburbs are:

Fitzroy, Carlton, North Melbourne, Docklands, Southbank, East Melbourne and Collingwood.

If you want to go further afield from your Nest, you can take a tram to St Kilda, Port Melbourne, Bridge Road shopping strip or Chapel Street shopping & restaurant strip. CityLink and the Eastern Freeway are easy to get to, connecting you with all major freeways out of the city.

StayCentral - Your Home in Melbourne

We choose our serviced apartments with two main criteria in mind; they must be central (close to transport, cafes, restaurants, bars and shops), and even though they are in the thick of things, the actual apartments must be reasonably quiet, so you are not woken up all night.

Our Melbourne serviced apartments are decorated and fitted out under guidance of a very experienced interior decorator for your enjoyment. StayCentral has your relaxation in mind when it fits out a serviced apartment. We try to include all the little things that come in handy, as well as the essentials.

Whether you're visiting Melbourne for business for a week or a month, or to enjoy one of Melbourne's famous or cultural events, for a second honeymoon, or for a family holiday - our boutique apartments are the perfect answer for your short or medium term accommodation needs.

Apartment Details

Perfect for two, your serviced apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, living room, bedroom, a balcony, and bathroom. The laundry is just down the hallway, and is very clean and well-maintained. The balcony overlooks the city towards the Eureka Tower, and is very pleasant at night time in particular.

There's a very comfy queen-sized bed, that blends well with the newly decorated apartment, and additional guests can enjoy a very comfortable double sofa bed. You can also ask for a cot or high chair if you need them; (extra cost for this property). Don't forget to enjoy our rooftop heated pool with the great view.

The Nest is securely tucked inside a refurbished building with a double security entrance and an incredible rooftop pool. The apartment was refurbished in October 2011. Supervised, security, undercover parking is available under your building for $20/night.
